Bazaar at night
This clip allows access to shop at night when the door is locked.
With sword, you can easily climb the box to the left of the door, roll upright to jump off, then jumpslash over the door and into the loading zone.
swordless
- Climb box in the corner
- Hold ESS right (settles at facing angle f71e; alternatively, one ESS turn right to 0xf8f8 also works)
- Sidehop, sideroll
- Hold up-right to give the sideroll speed, then switch to straight up (can release target)
swordless (bonk setup)
setup by sva
This setup is slightly slower than the ESS setup above but may be easier since it doesn't require changing control stick direction quickly.
- Bonk in the corner between the shop and the box (facing angle roughly 0x38--)
- Tap right to turn right and begin holding target (continue holding through remainder of trick) (facing angle roughly 0xf8--)
- Hold right to climb onto the box
- Sidehop left (up on control stick)
- Sideroll (press A while neutral on control stick)
- Begin holding up on control stick 1-5 frames after pressing A to jump over the door
Potion shop at night
Requires sword to jumpslash over the door.
Cheat the Treasure Box Shop minigame
The Treasure Box Shop minigame consists of picking between one of two chests that randomly contain either a key or a rupee reward, within a series of 5 rooms. The Lens of Truth allows you to peek into the contents of the chest, eliminating the random factor completely. Of course, you can get lucky by picking every chest correctly, which has a 1/32 chance of happening.
You can cheat the game on the 1.0 version by using the putaway method of Ocarina Items to play Sun's Song inside of the minigame. This will reload the scene without re-locking the doors you've opened or removing keys from your inventory.

Seamwalk to Castle
Tsundere setup (Deku Stick)
Extremely fast and very common for people to use in routes that have a Deku Stick here.
Note that the position is very lenient, with the video using a fairly far left position.
Neko setup (itemless)
Very good for consistency, and doesn't require items.
Jolin setup (fast itemless)
Damage boost to crawlspace
As long as you have an explosive, it is possible to skip talking to Malon to get the Weird Egg and waiting a day for it to hatch into a chicken to wake Talon. This makes it possible to learn Zelda's Lullaby much sooner.
Simply stand on the little platform near the water, and do a damage boost with a jumpslash to boost yourself to the ledge. With a Bombchu you can shield drop it in mid-air or wait until it is about to explode before you jump. For a Bomb you must wait for it to explode.
Megaflip to crawlspace
If you have shield, you can megaflip to the crawlspace while taking no damage.

Sidehop behind final guard
This is somewhat slow because you have to wait for the guard to come all the way down. But it's much safer than frame perfect sidehops, as long as you ensure the guard on the left won't be walking at you up top.
Zelda's Lullaby cutscene skip
Shieldless bombchu strat
Often this is the only option if you get to Zelda with no Deku Shield (and no sword).
- Target wall to the left of Zelda (left when facing her)
- Stand on the leftmost floor tile (your left foot needs to at least barely be on it)
- Backflip from wall
- Pull Bombchu
- Turn 90 degrees right
- Hold target
- Start holding right (to sidewalk) on one of three frames
- frame before 2nd black flash, 2nd black frame, frame after 2nd black
Bombchu with shield
If you have Deku Shield, this method is very fast and very easy.
- Get in left corner after Zelda cutscene
- Target pillar
- 6 sidehops left
- Turn 90 degrees right
- Backflip and shield drop bomb (not TOO quickly)
A similar strat works with a bomb with 1 fewer sidehop, then turning right, backflipping, and placing down a bomb you shield to get pushed into the cutscene.
Old methods
These are listed for posterity. Don't do them.

Double Defense without strength
To get Double Defense the intended way, one must get the Golden Gauntlets and lift the rock out of the way to enter the Great Fairy Fountain. Using a Recoil Boost, however, allows one to skip the requirement of Golden Gauntlets, instead just requiring Hover Boots and the ability to crouch stab.
Get into the corner between the cliff and the rock, and align the right hand side of the B button with the edge of the cliff in front of you. Crouch stab the wall, and on the frame that you move backwards (also the second frame that sparks from your sword are visible), equip the Hover Boots. Unpause after equipping the Hover Boots, still holding your shield up and left on the analogue stick. You will then slide into the loading zone and will be able to get Double Defense provided you have Zelda's Lullaby as well as magic.
It is also possible to clip by Supersliding into the corner, as opposed to doing a Recoil Boost.
