Any% (GCN)

This is the optimal route of Any%, which obtains the Deku Leaf using the Door Cancel glitch, as well as using it again later to enter Forsaken Fortress 2. This route requires the use of the Tingle Tuner. For the optimal tunerless route, see Any% (NSO). This run should be performed on the japanese version for faster text.

Forsaken Fortress 1

  • Superswim to Northern Fairy Island submarine [F2 to C1]
  • Beat FF1
    • Leave jail (left door)
    • Defeat the searchlight bokoblin and damage to 1/4 heart
    • Stick hover to the top and heal with heart
    • Get Hero's Sword and beat FF1

Leaf

  • Door Cancel with vision for Forest Haven
    • Cut flowers for heart and rupees
    • Get blue rupee under ramp
    • Get Tingle Tuner
    • Get blue rupee above ramp
    • Get storage off of ledge
    • Get blue rupee under ramp
      • If failed storage, get storage on the rocks near KoRL
    • Store KoRL text
    • Cut flowers for rupees
    • Get Door Cancel with vision on bomb shop door
    • Get rupee pot by tree
    • Get storage on wall behind tree
    • Get rupee pots behind wall
    • Double Storage using pig minigame guy and wall behind tree again
    • Cut flowers behind bomb shop for rupees, hopefully have around 50 rupees now
  • Superswim to Forest Haven, air refill at Six-Eye Reef on the way [D2 to D4 to F6]
  • Scale outside with jumpslashes
  • Deku Tree Cutscene Skip, grabbing 4 green rupees from grass by leftmost chus
  • Bulb Skip, Leaf
    • [Wind Waker, Deku Leaf, Tingle Tuner]
  • Savewarp

Forsaken Fortress 2

  • Door Cancel for FF2 [D2 to A1]
    • Turn on Tuner and replug after it connects
    • Leaf to rocks and get storage
    • Store KoRL text
    • Cut flowers for rupees
    • Get Door Cancel with vision on bomb shop door
    • Get storage on wall behind tree
    • Get rupee pots behind wall
    • Cut grass behind bomb shop for rupees, hopefully have 70 rupees now
  • Superswim to Forsaken Fortress, air refill at Mother and Child Isles on the way [D2 to B2 to A1]
    • Scale up to loading zone with Door Cancel
  • Helmaroc Skip, take damage from spikes to 1/4 heart or slightly more for safety
